How did we get here?
1997
Starting off
Our Founder, Greg Jones, grew up in San Diego, 3rd generation to the HVAC trade (dating back to his Grandfather). Greg grew up working right along side his father in his HVAC company. Greg studied Engineering and Construction Management at BYU. In 1997, while still working on his degree, Greg completed his first custom home project in Mapleton. This was the start of Jones Mechanical Inc.1998
First employees
In 1998, Greg's wife, Kelly, became a partner and we added a few employees. Kelly has been a huge asset to the growth and health of the business and currently serves as its CFO.1999
UTah Parade of Homes
Our hard work was paying off! As early as 1999, we had custom homes in the Utah Valley Parade of Homes and continue to do a number of large custom homes in the Parade each year.2017
Growth
Time for a change! We moved to Vineyard and purchased a building in a central location to service our builders. This gave us great access to our clients throughout Heber and Park City areas, along with our work up and down the Wasatch Front.2024
Today
The unique market of larger estaste homes in Northern Utah has led to amazing opportunities with Custom Home Builders that we have partnered with (some for more than 20 years). Our marketshare has grown organically as other builders have noted our care for projects in both quality and scheduling. Treating every project as if it was our own home . We have over 20 crews ALL dedicated to servicing passionate Custom Home Builders. We provide HVAC solutions that offer the most comfort, least maintenance, highest efficiency, quietest operation, and best packaging. No drops is the goal! By January of 2024, our work has been showcased in more than 50 Parade of Homes, and we have assisted hundreds of families in building their dream home!
